The company Natura Food Additives, a.s. is an outcome of organizational restructuring in the holding company Natura, a.s., which was performed in 2009. After this restructuring two new companies with separate manufacture and trade sections were created, Natura, a.s. and Natura Food Additives. Natura a.s. became the supplier of products (for instance mashed potatoes powder or Solamyl) for retail sector. In march 2010 Arca Capital sold its 100% share in Natura, a.s. to the international group EUROPASTA, N.V.. Arca Capital retained an individual trade and manufacturing company, orientated on food additives – Naura Food Additives. The company focuses on development, production and sales of assortments improving attributes of products in meat, milk and baking industries (additives) on B2B base. It has its own production capacities and a laboratory in Havlickuv Brod in CR. It operates mostly in Czech Republic, but its activities also reach to Slovakia, western European countries, the Balkan Peninsula, but also Southeast Asia. It owns several trademarks such as Naturpate, Naturchees, Naturprotein, Naturcream etc. It produces several food ingredients, additives as for instance emulsifiers, antioxidants, stabilizers, chemical preservatives, colorings, spice mixes, aromas and others. Food additives for meat industry – for instance complete agents for the production of pates, agents for cooked and smoked salamis and sausages, assortments for the preparation of hamburgers, mixing assortments, agents for the produce of flavored aspics et all. Food additives for milk industry comprise of assortments for production of yoghurts and sour creams, stabilizers for production of milk and vegetable whipping creams, agents for production of spreads and cottage cheese creams and complete assortments for production of ice-creams. Additives for bakers and confectioners consist of agents for quality improving conditions for pastry, assortments for production of wholegrain or potato bread, mixtures for production of sponges, jelly and powder creams and others. The company is also involved in the use of food additives in the production of delicacies. Ingredients for the production are in most cases imported from abroad. The development base of the company is a team of experienced food technologists capable of quickly responding to market demands. The good position of the company on the market in Czech Republic with expanding development of foreign activities is the result of observing strict hygienic conditions in the development, production and storage of products and assortments in the factory, which are under constant veterinary surveillance with the license to handle products of biological origin similarly as other milk and meat factories with certification for trade within the EU.
