MARILA BALÍRNY is a Czech company operating in the food sector since 1998. Its activities are concentrated on coffee roasting and packing, bakery and confectionery, food packing and drinks production. It ranks number two in coffee sales and number three in mineral water sales on the Czech market thanks to the sales of Ondrášovka natural mineral water and a healing mineral water, distributed under the name “Šaratica”. The acquisition of the majority share took place in 2007 with the aim of restructuring and separating the production divisions into independent business units. The investment activities should lead to an increase in mineral water production capacity and quality bakery production oriented towards export markets.
