Lightpark is a business and exhibition space with design furniture, home decorations. The idea of the project was to create a centre for demanding customers, who are looking for exceptional products and services.
LIGHTPARK is a three-storey building with one underground parking floor and with the main entrance from the busy Račianska Street, that will direct customers straight to the shopping passage. The main reference point and communication space is the central staircase with lifts and an open atrium, from which customers can directly enter specific shops. Shops are designed as high-capacity shopping spaces that can be altered to specific customer requirements. Glass exterior evocates window display optically connects the inside of the building with the outside and at the same time it resembles an interior decoration that portrays the function of the shopping centre. On the facade, there is a large clock that draws the attention of passers by. The design of the interior is also an interesting point. The shopping mall is located in a busy, but well accessible spot Gaštanový Hájik, close to Railway Station Bratislava – Predmestie and Bratislava – Vinohrady. Building of this shopping mall started in 2007 and it was open to public in 2008. For motorized visitors there are 70 parking spots in the underground part of the complex. On the ground floor there is a pleasant Italian restaurant Ristorante da Cono with outside terrace. In the space of 5000 square meters customers can see designers pieces from renowned brands – exclusive, custom built furniture, complete service in the area of interior design including bathrooms and kitchen studios and a wide collection of interior lighting as well as complex solutions in lighting.
