Geodézia Bratislava is a leader in the field of geodesy and cartography in Slovakia. The company was founded in 1992 after its transformation from a state company of the same name. At present, the company’s shares are traded on the Stock Market in Bratislava. Arca Capital’s strategy is to continue developing and strengthening its market position and supporting the company’s core business, which is made up of an integrated set of activities and consultancy services: work in the real estate register, map-making, creating GIS (geographical information systems) on territories and engineering geodesy. The precondition for successful development includes the company’s revitalization and an improvement in its approach to customers. Among GEODÉZIA Bratislava’s clients, we can count for example: Ballymore Eurovea, Dopravoprojekt, Slovak Telecom and SPP. The company also works for state institutions, ministries and state companies (SR Railways, Forestry Office SR, Mochovce Nuclear Power Station). It is also participating in several projects financed by the EU and also worked on several projects within the Czech Republic. Geodézia Bratislava is planning to keep its leading position in the public sector, but is also expanding in the commercial sector. Since the acquisition of majority of shares by Arca Capital, the company secured several important orders such as NAFTA GBELY and SLOVNAFT. Since the acquisition by Arca Capital in 2008, the company started paying out dividends to its share-holders.
