BIO-SKIN, a. s. was established in 2007 focusing on the production, sale and further development of the Xe-Derma® stabilized biological cover. Xe-Derma® was developed to cure acute and chronic skin conditions, especially second degree burns. It differs from current synthetic materials in a positive way by its bio-stimulating effects. Its further use is foreseen in dermatology, reconstructive and plastic surgery. After its certification, the company plans to start its own production of the product, to extend its range, and, following its successful introduction into the domestic market, expansion into other markets (EU, Japan, USA) and extending its scope into the tissue engineering area.
