In November 2006, Arca Capital decided for so-called “distance adoption” of 100 children from Africa, i.e. 50 children from Kenya and 50 children from Guinea.
This is the aid to children who find themselves in absolute poverty. The objective is to provide access to education to children whose parents or guardians cannot afford paying tuition fees and expenditure associated with classes.
For these children, the Arca Capital group pays tuition fees, all teaching aids and school uniforms. With this type of support, Arca Capital will thus help the children achieve at least the minimal life conditions that are available for children in other countries.
As the “foster parent”, Arca Capital is regularly provided with information about the particular child and its progress, and receives letters from the children and their school results.
The contribution to the adoption of one child is CZK 500 a month in Guinea and CZK 600 in Kenya. For better illustration, this is an amount of approximately one cup of coffee a day. We plan to support all of these children until they finish their education.
